ANNA GRIGO is a New York City-based scenic and production designer for theatre, opera, film, and the performance arts. A visionary design professional with 10+ years of experience transforming abstract concepts into vivid, emotionally resonant environments.
Selected professional credits include: Scenic Designer for SISSY (Baryshnikov Arts Center), Choir Boy (Yale Repertory Theatre), birthday birthday birthday (The Tank), Kinky Boots (Bucks County Playhouse), Fiddler on the Roof (Yale Dramatic Association), Once on This Island (SCSU), fuckin' loud (Yale Summer Cabaret), Matt & Ben (Kitchen Theatre Company), Shining City (Hudson Stage Company), Peter and the Starcatcher (Hewitt School NYC) (Cider Mill Playhouse), and Red (Cider Mill Playhouse). Anna was also a selected finalist for her scenic design of The White Plague for the Prague Quadrennial Common Design Project 2020. Anna received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Set and Costume Design from Ithaca College, and received her Master of Fine Arts in Set Design from the Yale School of Drama. She is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829. As a scenic design associate and assistant, Anna has collaborated with Broadway designers for productions including Sweeney Todd and Cult of Love on Broadway, and Lincoln Center Theater's production of Ghosts. |
